Day 3- I am seeing progress!

I know you are probably thinking I am crazy when I say I can tell a difference in just three days... BUT I CAN!!!   I have been less bloated, having regular BM's (sorry for the TMI!), and more energy! Even though today was another lazy day in the Wolf household... I had a good amount of energy. I am making sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night, drinking tons of water and eating all 5 of my Medifast meals.  I have been getting bad headache's at night and a little nausea but it goes away when I drink more water.
I really wanted to go for a walk today but the Okinawa marathon was going on so all the roads were busy. I am not a huge fan of doing laps around Camp McT.... gets old REAL fast! Hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow so that I can go for a walk with Bug out in town!  We have been cooped up in the house because of the weather so it would be nice to get out and get some fresh air!
Its a four day weekend and we are all just enjoying being together. I can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store!

Day 2- Relaxing day with no power!

Today was a pretty relaxing day! We had a power outage from 9am until 2pm but it didn't seem to bother us very much. Cailey Bug on the other hand really wanted to watch a movie. At some point Jason decided to take her to go check the mail and do a commissary run. That left mommy with space to do whatever she liked.... except I ended up cleaning the house!
We went to church this afternoon because the Okinawa Marathon happens to be tomorrow and our church runs right in the middle of the entire thing so they switched services to today. Pastor John discussed further into the book of Mark and then finished up with baptizing about 8 people. What most people don't realize is that I was asked to be up there among them..... I really want to be re baptized but I felt like I didn't have enough time to invite all my Okinawa family to be there to support me. So Oki Family keep your eyes and ears out for when I decide to take that next step in my walk because I would love to have each and everyone of you there with me.
This was my second day on the program and I am dying to know what the scale says!! I have been drinking plenty of water and making sure to switch up meals so that I don't get bored with eating one imparticular meal. I think the brownies are one of my favorites, but then again me entire box of food is customized with TONS of chocolate meals, for example: dutch chocolate shakes, brownies, chocolate crunch and peanut butter/chocolate crunch bars, and Chocolate mint soft serve..... all my favorites to insure that I will eat all my meals and I wont waste any!
I started a workout this past week that I got off of Pinterest (I LOVE THAT SITE!).  I am going to attach Saturdays workout to this post, and each days following will have one too so that you can have them for your viewing pleasure! I am definitely feeling the muscles I haven't used in awhile and it sure does feel good!

Day 1- Let my journey begin..... again!

I came across a wonderful webpage that inspired me to start up a blog again. The man shared his journey with Medifast and along the way shared recipes and workouts that he found very useful. I think that I too can provide that information and spread the word about how wonderful the Medifast program truly is.
I started the Medifast program of June 2010 and lost over 20lbs in the first month. That only fueled me to continue with the program to drop the additional weight. I can remember going home to visit family stateside for the first time in a year (November 2010) and stood proud at 180lbs. I felt fantastic after dropping 53lbs and knew that I could continue to do this program with great results. I took a break from the program while visiting my family in California and was scared to stand on the scale when I arrived back in Okinawa to find that not only had I NOT gained any weight I actually had lost 2lbs! What!?!? Are you serious!?!?  Then I realized that being on the program for those 5 months had instilled healthy habits in my brain that I subconsciously utilized. I decided to continue with the program and I lost an additional 20lbs when I came across a fellow military wife here in Okinawa that was curious about the Medifast program. I contacted her about the program and invited her over to discuss Medifast. Right then and there I decided that I wanted to become a Medifast Health Coach! Why not spread the word about Medifast and support others in their journeys to lose the weight. May of 2011 I became a Coach and established a nice group of clientele.
I have been on and off the program for the past year.  I have stayed between 160 and 143lbs in this timeframe but I am currently sitting at 159.4. I decided that I to needed to sit down and start fresh with the program to show my clients and future clients how impressive this program is.
Today I started the program over and I dont feel like I am struggling at all. For those of you that do not know the first three days of the program are the hardest. You can get really bad headaches, nausea, gassy, even constipated and dont even get me started on the grouchiness! Your body has to get used to the reduced calorie intake and is basically detoxing from the junk food you have been eating.  I have one heck of a headache right now and I am greatful bedtime is right around the corner cause a moody 3 1/2 year old is getting on my very last nerve!
I can not wait to keep you all updated daily on my Medifast journey!
